Apple - Designing data visualization internal tools to streamline mass production

During my co-op with Apple’s Product Operations Manufacturing team, I led design efforts on Anomaly Detection — a self-serve internal platform empowering iPhone manufacturing teams to identify and respond to production line issues with speed and autonomy. I collaborated closely with developers to turn complex manufacturing data into simple, actionable user flows. I bridged the gap between design and engineering by backing design decisions with user research and mentoring the team in UX principles.
Beyond my initial project, I am also leading UX design for a monitoring metrics dashboard, and a gamification initiative aimed at increasing engagement across internal tools.
My work at Apple is under a strict NDA so reach out to iy53@cornell.edu for more information!
